Because your voice matter.

As I said last time, I started working at a flowers farm. While working and figuring out what could I possibly write this week, Thais and I were joking around to find a new topic… Women are like flowers.

I just finished my first week working in a flowers farm here in Australia. While picking tiny eatable flowers, you have a lot of time to think and tergiversate.

What if coming back was a mistake ? What if I needed to pull through to see the light ? What if I missed out on the opportunity of my life ?

Earlier this week, I had my first job interview in Melbourne. It has been almost two years since the last one. Naturally, I was eager to get back on the ring. But I wouldn’t have expected anything like this.

Everybody already has heard those sayings at least once. They say that “you can’t buy what your heart needs” or “things can be bought but feeling can’t” and of course the famous “money can’t buy happiness”.

When the Solar New Year is coming, most of us look back at the year that past. What has change, what is different, what did we overcome, what are the things we wish we had do but couldn’t.

I am sure that I am not the only one on this. I am attracted by the ones who doesn’t want me and I am not interested by the ones who want to be with me. Story of most of us life.

Today, I just wanted to talk about body shaming. The pressure of having to look a certain way and the stress we put on ourselves to appear a certain way.

At dawn of the year 2019, sexuality becomes less and less taboo. Nowadays, the act is something that we talk about anytime of the day, with or without liquid courage, sometimes with people that we barely know.

I have a confession to make.

Is it really shocking though ? Even if we are in 2018 ? I know I know, I’m an asian millennial who doesn’t like technology that much. Thinking of it, it’s kind of weird. But for me, it was normal. And kind of freeing.

It’s not always about finding the right match for ourselves, because often in life, we can’t choose the ones we are working with, depending of our lines of work.

There are so much things going wrong in this planet. So why should we trust anything really ? In philosophy and in Buddhism, we are taught that it’s because there is bad that there is good. That the earth in is entirety is exercising balance and that we don’t have the whole picture to understand … More Why should we trust the process ?

At one point of our lives, most of us will travel. But why do we do it ? Is it in our core nature to go out and discover the world ? Or are we looking for a specific thing ? What drags us away from where we were ? Does it all depends on … More Why do you travel ?

I met this Scandinavian guy in Dublin, Ireland, last week. In the hostel we were in, there were lots of creepy dudes. And he ended up sharing some boy’s thoughts with me. Here’s one of them.

During our course of life, we will wipe many rejections in many different types of ways. It’s really not a matter of if but truly when and where. What circumstances.

This week, I thought I’ll try something more laid back and funny to see where it goes. I do love the company of men but I enjoy way more making fun of them ! Who doesn’t though ?

I love being alone ! I love it. It’s a time that I cherish for myself. It doesn’t mean that I am not sociable or that I don’t love you, it means that I enjoy being in my own company.
